Job Vacancy: Carpenter / MasonCompany: BJAM Construction & Maintenance Location: Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent)Working Hours: 40 hours per week Wage: CI$ 12.00 per hour Benefits: Statutory Health Insurance, Pension Plan, and Paid Vacation Closing Date / Deadline: October 12, 2026Job Description & Key ResponsibilitiesBJAM Construction & Maintenance is seeking a skilled, reliable, and experienced Carpenter / Mason to join our team for various residential and commercial maintenance and construction projects across Grand Cayman. Read drawings, sketches, and building plans to determine dimensions, layouts, and materials required.Construct, erect, install, and repair wooden structures, formwork, framing, drywall, doors, windows, and cabinetry.Lay concrete blocks, bricks, and stone; mix mortar and cement mixtures to required specifications.Form, pour, level, screed, and finish concrete surfaces including foundations, walkways, and slabs.Carry out plastering, rendering, and patch repairs on interior and exterior walls.Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and trade-related machinery.Adhere strictly to site safety, cleanliness, and local building code standards.Perform general maintenance, structural repairs, and assist team members on site as needed.Qualifications & ExperienceA minimum of 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in carpentry and masonry construction.Comprehensive knowledge of both rough and finish carpentry as well as general masonry techniques.Physical fitness and stamina to handle heavy lifting, climbing scaffolding, and working outdoors in Caribbean weather conditions.Strong attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.A clean police clearance record.Application ProcessSuitably qualified Caymanians, Status Holders, and Permanent Residents with the right to work are invited to apply.How to Apply: Apply directly through the WORC JobsCayman portal or submit your resume and references to seagrapesecretarial1@gmail.com.
