We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional customer experiences, resolving complex issues, and mentoring junior associates. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and fitness, have proven strong background in excellent customer service at a senior level and excellent communication skills.
Greeting and assisting customers in an engaging, positive manner, ensuring customer satisfaction. Providing outstanding service to customers through in-person, phone, and digital channels. Resolving escalated customer complaints, issues or requests with professionalism and empathy. Answering customers’ questions about specific products/services in person, via email, and telephone. Maintaining a deep understanding of products and services offered. Staying up-to-date on current and/or new products/services by researching information. Driving sales by upselling and cross-selling products to meet individual and store targets. Managing POS system, ensuring proper processing of transactions and daily totals. Creating and uploading inventory when necessary. Training junior staff in sales processes and techniques. Liaising with team members and customers and use their feedback to recommend new products to be sold. Maintaining and updating customer database monthly. Leading by example in delivering high-quality service and maintaining a positive work environment. Assisting in managing daily store operations including tidying of store space ensuring products are presented in a manner consistent with the Company's standards. Providing regular updates to the Store Manager. Opening and closing retail store including cash handling and end of day reporting.
