Part-Time Contract Position Help us tell the next chapter of Cayman Hearing Center. Cayman Hearing Center is seeking a creative, highly organized, and proactive Marketing & Communications Manager to lead our ongoing marketing, communications, and community engagement. In February 2027, Cayman Hearing Center will celebrate 20 years of serving the Cayman Islands. We are developing a year-long anniversary campaign to celebrate that milestone while strengthening hearing-health awareness, community partnerships and Cayman Hearing Center's presence for the next 20 years. We already have ideas. We have specialist marketing resources. We have a story worth telling. Now we're looking for the person who can bring it all together and make it happen. The Role This is not simply a social media posting position. The Marketing & Communications Manager will work directly with the CEO and coordinate with our external specialist marketing partner, creative vendors, event partners and the CHC team to turn strategic ideas into a cohesive, well-executed marketing programme. You will be expected to understand where Cayman Hearing Center is going, keep your finger on the pulse of what's happening in Cayman, identify opportunities we should pursue and take responsibility for moving approved initiatives from idea to execution. You won't be expected to do everything yourself. You will be expected to make sure everything gets done. What You'll Own Annual Marketing & Communications
Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month marketing and communications calendar.
Translate CHC's strategic priorities into quarterly and monthly marketing themes.
Identify relevant hearing, health and community awareness days, weeks and months.
Identify opportunities to integrate CHC into broader health, wellness, education and community conversations.
Review campaigns and resources provided by our external specialist marketing partner and recommend which opportunities should be implemented locally.
Coordinate approved campaigns through completion.
Ensure CHC's marketing activities across different channels work together as one cohesive programme.
Social Media & Content
Develop CHC's monthly social media and content calendar.
Create, schedule and publish engaging, educational and brand-appropriate content.
Write captions, short articles and supporting marketing copy.
Create basic graphics using Canva or similar tools.
Coordinate and capture appropriate photography and short-form video content.
Edit basic short-form video or coordinate external editing where required.
Repurpose clinical education, presentations, media appearances and community activities into useful content.
Maintain a consistent, active and professional presence across CHC's digital channels.
Cayman Community, PR & Visibility We want someone who knows — or wants to know — what's happening in Cayman.
You will
Monitor relevant conferences, community events, corporate wellness programmes, school initiatives, healthcare activities and other local opportunities.
Proactively identify events and initiatives where CHC should participate.
Identify appropriate speaking, media, interview and public-education opportunities for CHC clinicians.
Liaise with community organizations, event organizers, businesses, media and other stakeholders.
Coordinate approved participation from initial contact through execution.
Support local PR and media outreach.
Help ensure CHC is part of relevant conversations about hearing, communication, healthy aging, accessibility and community health.
CHC20 — Our 20th Anniversary One of your first major projects will be helping lead CHC20, our year-long 20th anniversary campaign.
An initial strategic framework has already been developed around four pillars
Celebrate. Educate. Give Back. Innovate. Proposed initiatives include patient and family storytelling, community hearing-health activities, historical content, media engagement, professional education, community partnerships and a flagship anniversary celebration.
As CHC20 Campaign Lead, you will
Take the approved CHC20 strategy and turn it into a detailed master implementation plan.
Maintain the CHC20 timeline, deliverables and deadlines.
Coordinate anniversary branding and content across social media, website, email, PR and other channels.
Coordinate patient stories, historical content, photography and videography.
Work with our external marketing partner to integrate its anniversary campaigns into the broader CHC20 programme.
Work with external event professionals on the flagship anniversary event.
Coordinate with external partners supporting sponsorship, PR, media, photography, videography and event production.
Support community and corporate partnership development.
Ensure the many components of CHC20 feel like one cohesive campaign rather than a collection of unrelated activities.
Keep leadership informed of progress, decisions required, risks and upcoming milestones.
You will not be expected to personally produce every CHC20 event or activity. Your responsibility will be to own the master plan and coordinate the people and partners needed to execute it successfully. Email, Website & External Marketing Partner CHC works with an established specialist marketing partner that provides audiology-specific marketing strategy, campaigns, patient email communications and website support.
You will act as CHC's primary internal marketing point person by
Reviewing monthly campaign opportunities and recommending those that align with CHC's priorities.
Coordinating the CHC inputs required for selected campaigns.
Developing or sourcing content needed for patient newsletters.
Identifying website updates and content opportunities.
Coordinating approved website changes with our external partner.
Ensuring that valuable marketing resources do not simply remain ideas or unused deliverables.
Planning & Reporting
You will meet with the CEO regularly to review
What's coming up.
What's currently in progress.
Opportunities you recommend CHC pursue.
Results from recent activities.
Decisions or approvals required.
Priorities for the next 30–90 days.
We are not looking for someone who comes to these meetings asking
"What would you like me to post this month?"
We are looking for someone who comes prepared to say
"Here's what's happening over the next three months. Here's where I think CHC should be. Here's what we're talking about. Here's what's already scheduled. And here are the few things I need from you." What We're Looking For You may be a marketer, communications professional, PR professional, content creator or someone whose experience crosses several of these areas.
More importantly, you are someone who
Takes ownership and initiative.
Sees opportunities without waiting for someone else to point them out.
Has excellent written communication skills.
Is highly organized and follows through.
Understands social media and digital content.
Is comfortable using Canva or similar content-creation tools.
Can create or coordinate basic photography and video content.
Is comfortable representing an organization when communicating with businesses, community groups, media and professional stakeholders.
Can manage multiple projects, partners and deadlines.
Knows the Cayman community or is exceptionally good at becoming connected to it.
Can take broad strategic direction and turn it into specific actions.
Knows when to execute independently and when leadership input is required.
Experience in marketing, communications, PR, media, community engagement or digital content is preferred. Healthcare experience is an asset but is not required. Working Arrangement This is a part-time contract position with a flexible working arrangement. Much of the work may be completed remotely; however, the successful candidate must be based in the Cayman Islands and available for in-person meetings, content creation, community activities and events as required. The position is designed around ownership, outcomes and deliverables rather than simply clocking hours. The role reports directly to the CEO. What Success Looks Like Marketing at Cayman Hearing Center should not depend on the CEO remembering what needs to happen next. Our Marketing & Communications Manager will see the bigger picture, keep the plan moving, coordinate the right people and make sure great ideas become completed initiatives. We have the strategy. We have the resources. We need someone who can make the wheel turn.
