Employer: GARY CHRISTIAN & GENESIS MONICA SANCHEZ T/A Chrission's Construction Location: Cayman Islands Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Chrission's Construction is seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Mason to join our growing team. With a commitment to quality craftsmanship and structural integrity, we are looking for a veteran tradesperson who brings over a decade of hands-on experience to our residential and commercial projects across the island. Job Duties and Responsibilities As a Mason, you will be expected to handle complex builds and produce high-quality finishes. Your daily responsibilities will include: Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and accurately executing architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. Structural Building: Constructing, assembling, and repairing structures using brick, concrete block, structural tile, and natural stone. Material Preparation: Expertly mixing mortar, plaster, and grout to the correct consistency for various applications. Finishing Work: Applying exterior and interior finishes, including plastering, rendering, and applying marmoran (standard in Cayman construction). Precision Cutting: Measuring, cutting, and shaping masonry materials using hand tools and power saws. Site Preparation: Erecting scaffolding, formwork, and ensuring stable and safe working elevations. Safety Compliance: Maintaining a clean and organized worksite while strictly adhering to local occupational health and safety regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria

Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of verifiable professional experience in masonry. Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of masonry techniques, leveling, plumbing, and structural alignment. Physical Stamina: The ability to perform heavy manual labor in hot/humid conditions, work on your feet for extended periods, and safely lift 50+ lbs. Mobility: A valid Cayman Islands Driver’s License is highly preferred. Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, reliability, and clear communication skills to coordinate with site supervisors and other trades. Salary, Benefits & Compensation All compensation and benefits are provided in strict accordance with the Cayman Islands Labour Act. Base Salary: CI$ 12.00 per hour (minimum).
