Job Description

Job Title: Parts Manager Department: Parts Reports To: General Manager/Operation Manager Job Summary – This role is responsible for supervising staff, maintaining vendor relationships, optimizing stock levels, and supporting service and sales teams with accurate and timely parts fulfillment. Oversee all operations within the parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely parts availability, and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management

o Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer and internal service needs. o Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of parts. o Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. o Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize stockouts.

  • Customer & Internal Support

o Assist customers, technicians, and sales staff in identifying and sourcing required parts. o Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product information. o Ensure timely fulfillment of parts orders and special requests.

  • Vendor & Supplier Relations

o Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. o Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. o Review vendor performance and recommend improvements.

  • Team Leadership

o Supervise, train, and mentor parts department staff. o Create work schedules and assign daily tasks. o Promote a positive, efficient, and customer-focused work environment.

  • Operational Excellence

o Maintain organized parts storage areas and ensure compliance with safety standards. o Monitor department performance metrics and implement process improvements. o Manage parts returns, warranties, and core tracking.

  • Financial Management

o Prepare and manage the parts department budget. o Analyze sales trends and develop strategies to increase profitability. o Ensure accurate invoicing and documentation. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of parts inventory systems and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer applications.
  • 10+ years Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in automotive or Similar Sector .
  • Vendor negotiation experience.
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and parts catalogs.

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking.
  • Occasional lifting of parts and materials.
  • Collaboration with service, sales, and administrative teams.
