Welder

Duties and responsibilities include

• Perform specialized welding, fabrication, and repair of marine vessels and heavy equipment.
• Weld structural steel, plates, frames, chassis, and components using appropriate welding techniques.
• Repair damaged or worn metal components on barges, tug boats, excavators, wheel loaders, tractor heads, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting materials prior to welding.

Preference will be given too candidates who possess a Welder's Certificate.
