Bess Buy Ltd. T/A Bess Buy is looking for an energetic, efficient, courteous, and possesses excellent customer service skills to work as a Cashier/Store Cleaner.
Duties include, but are not limited to
Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding products if needed.
Scan and bag customers’ purchase accurately.
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by Cleaning the store.
Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customers' purchases.
Provides pricing information by answering questions.
Resolves customer issues and answers questions.
Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes changes for cash customers.
Balances cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of work shift.
Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
Emptying trash cans.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service or cashier experience.
Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
High level of energy with strong customer service skills.
Basic math and computer skills.
Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service.
Good math skills.
Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
Customer satisfaction oriented.
Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of cash transactions, maintaining balanced cash drawers, and correctly entering data into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
Good physical health and stamina to stay on their feet for long periods and carry out tasks like lifting, bending or moving items.
Understanding of basic sales principles and customer service practices.
Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.
Must be able to work on weekends and Holidays and overtime as needed.
