Wireman

We are looking for a Wireman to undertake a variety of tasks in assisting our electricians. This will involve the use of hand tools, and assisting the electrician(s) with maintenance and construction work on electrical equipment. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, wiremen must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience working in the electrical industry. Responsibilities

• Learning from the Electrician and completing all assigned duties.
• Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults.
• Traveling out to various public and private spaces to assist the electrician.
• Interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Updating work logs, client accounts, and handling other administrative duties.
• Ordering replacement parts and equipment as needed.
• Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties.
• Working irregular hours and overtime when required.
• Running conduits and pulling wires
• Making electrical connections in panels, and installing circuit breakers
• Installing fixtures on walls and ceilings
• Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
• Collaborating with construction crew members.
