Job Description

The duration of this temporary assignment will be for 6 months. The successful candidate(s) will perform a range of tasks that assist in the onboarding and benefits’ management process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will

  • Update, reconcile and maintain attendance and leave information for all CIMA employees;
  • Coordinate all aspects of events and meetings hosted or organized by the Human Resources Division;
  • Assist with the coordination of relocating new employees to the Cayman Islands;
  • Assist with managing the CIMA apparel issuance and inventory;
  • Assist with inputting employee data into the relevant HR Information System;
  • Communicate with the Professional Support Services Division, ensuring that office space/workplace is prepared for new employees or those transitioning within the Authority;
  • Assist with benefits coordination/enrolment for employees;
  • Guide new employees with relocation, if required, and onboarding documentation;
  • Assist with processing all payment requests and reimbursements related to candidate’s expenses;
  • Assist the Employee Services Unit with specific projects, as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a Certificate or a Diploma in Human Resources;
  • Three (3) years’ experience, with demonstrated performance capabilities, working in a human resources administrative role in a corporate environment;
  • Sound knowledge of general human resources administrative procedures; Strong ability to write coherent sentences with proper grammatical and spelling construction;
  • High level of confidentiality and work ethic is paramount;
  • Working knowledge of the Cayman Islands Employment legislations and procedures;
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Great plains Dynamics and SharePoint systems would be advantageous;
  • Computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word Processing are necessary, and working knowledge with Human Resources information Systems;
  • Working knowledge of website updates are beneficial;
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to accomplish tasks within tight deadlines.
