The Project Engineer is responsible for effective management of construction sub-Contractors and will oversee project safety, cost, profit, schedule and quality goals.
Must be able to communicate with contractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, corporate and support service providers as required for tenders,
Manage construction field operations, quality control, scheduling and safety associated with the project as applicable.
Managing the development of site planning including Temporary power, water, tele/data, lighting, welfare facilities, site offices, equipment placement, temporary utilities. etc
Managing contractor initiation meetings as well as construction closeouts.
Participating in design/constructibility reviews and participate in construction review of submittals as required.
Create and Monitor RFI responses and submittal reviews and ensure implementation in the field.
Liaise with contractors/vendors on design documents, communicating priorities as required for workflow and coordination in the field.
Implementing the project safety program to ensure all statutory requirements are met.
Conducting scheduled and unscheduled inspections of the work area, oversee the management of onsite injury treatment and follow up as necessary
Responsible for site security, cost control, scheduling of workflow, quality assurance, document control, coordination and scheduling.
Overseeing and directing a major high-end residential and commercial development from conception through to completion.
Ensuring the highest quality of construction standards
Managing and overseeing all onsite and offsite operations
Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and information from the design team
Ensuring full compliance with building and safety regulations
Coordinating and directing trade contractors
Preparing internal and external reports on all projects
