Mason

V&S Construction is seeking a hardworking, dependable and skilled Mason to join our construction team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position for someone who takes pride in professional workmanship and is prepared to work in a fast-paced construction environment. Applicants must be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of maintaining high standards throughout a full workday.

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday – Saturday

7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

KEY DUTIES

• Construct, repair, and finish walls, foundations, and other masonry structures.
• Lay blocks and other masonry materials accurately and efficiently.
• Mix and apply mortar to required specifications.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation.
• Maintain proper alignment, levels, and finished surfaces.
• Load, unload, carry, and move construction materials and equipment.
• Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Use masonry hand tools and construction equipment properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow instructions, construction plans, and established safety procedures.
• Work effectively with supervisors and other members of the construction crew.

WHAT WE EXPECT

Candidates must be physically capable of performing strenuous construction work for extended periods, including standing, bending, lifting, carrying, and working outdoors in demanding conditions. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate professionalism, discipline, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
