Support Associate

The Support Associate is needed to provide direct assistance to our Foreman and Assistant Project Managers with ongoing large-scale construction of residential and commercial projects. Primary duties will include but not be limited to the following construction-related duties:

• Coordination and execution of day-to-day activities on various construction projects
• Collaborating with other subcontractors to ensure completion of works according to project timelines
• Coordination with appropriate DAC staff regarding materials take-offs, materials held on site, and purchase orders/procurement
• Assist with designing and implementing plans for air conditioning systems in various construction projects

Requirements/Qualifications

• Min 5 years of proven experience in MEP contracting, project oversight, and day-to-day coordination of manpower in residential and commercial construction.
• Must have experience in the use of AutoCAD software for drafting and design applications.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and sketches; interpret manufacturer instructions, technical drawings and diagrams; and communicate on these items with installation technicians and other project support staff.
• Experience tracking and reporting on project progression including take-offs, change orders, etc.
• Must have strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage project schedules and make on-the-job decisions and applications.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to maintain project timelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints and deadlines.
• Ability to perform other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient operations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and spoken English.
• Must be able to provide 2 verifiable references for job experience/work history
• Possess a valid Cayman driving license with clean driving record and clean police record
