Maintain record of all raw materials coming to plant and maintain efficient safety regulations for same and organize all tools to increase efficiency of all activities.
Participate in training if required to improve working and monitor and ensure compliance to all manufacturing schedules.
Maintain all plant equipment and perform troubleshooting on same to resolve all issues.
Ensure consistent, reliable electricity is produced and delivered to the island.
Maintain quality of all products and prepare appropriate material lists and reports to be submitted to management.
Run a watch ensuring efficient operations of all plant equipment.
Maintain compliance to all company and OfReg health and safety standards for all activities.
Maintain optimal working condition of all products and recommend improvements to production processes.
Assist with inventory of all plant supplies and ensure accuracy in same according to required policies and procedures.
Adhere to safety standards for the staff and equipment.
Work with a range of materials and equipment in fitting and assembling metal components to form structures.
Read blueprints and drawings to identify welding measurements and position.
Conduct assessments to determine appropriate welding methods and equipment.
Abide by health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time constraints.
Ability to troubleshoot effectively.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
Must maintain a professional image and positive attitude at all times.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs; sit, stand, walk for an extended period of time.
Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule and have the ability to work outside of normal business hours (i.e. evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed).
A valid Cayman Islands Driving License.

May be exposed to a noisy, humid and hot environment surrounded temperatures will vary.
May be exposed to live electrical parts which must be de-energized before work on or near them is permitted
