Oceans International Ltd T/A Cayman Aggressor is seeking a qualified and experienced Dive Instructor to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality scuba diving instruction while ensuring the safety, confidence, and preparedness of all participants.
Provide instruction to individuals interested in recreational scuba diving. Guide students through the scuba certification process in accordance with recognized diving standards. Teach, demonstrate, and assess essential scuba diving skills to ensure safe and effective learning. Accompany divers underwater during training and diving activities. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback and support. Adapt promptly and appropriately to emergency situations and implement established safety procedures. Promote safe diving practices and help students build confidence, competence, and preparedness for diving activities. Maintain accurate records relating to student training and certifications. Ensure all diving equipment used during instruction is properly maintained and operated in accordance with safety standards.
Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in the diving and maritime industry. Extensive knowledge and practical experience in scuba instruction. Must hold valid and current scuba diving certifications relevant to the position. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to instruct individuals of varying experience levels.
