This person will play a pivotal role in overseeing our captive insurance programs, ensuring compliance, maximizing efficiency, and driving strategic initiatives forward. Responsibilities will include all aspects of managing the day-to-day responsibilities of a portfolio of captive insurance companies
Personal attributes should include being a team player, ability to work autonomously, strong people management, decision-making and time management skills. Reviewing certain financial statements would be expected for more experienced candidates. The successful applicant must hold an internationally recognized professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent), have a minimum of 7 years post qualification experience, and captive insurance management experience is preferred but not required. The successful applicant must also possess a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel based spreadsheet applications (familiarity with SunSystems, SILO and SharePoint will be an asset) and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English as substantial contact with clients will be required.
