Accountant

Job Title: Accountant Reporting to: Head of Accounting and Directors

Job Summary

The Accountant will work in conjunction with the Head of Accounting and the Directors to manage all financial matters within the company.

Responsibilities

• Duties will include the maintenance of computerized records and the preparation of financial statements.
• Accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting, detailed P&L and B/S.
• Preparation of draft of annual financial statements.
• Complete month end process and prepare any journals as required.
• Complete monthly variance analysis of actual revenues and costs vs. plan and monthly narrative.
• Inventory Costing and Reconciliations.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Capital expenditure reporting.
• Quarterly bottom-up forecast preparations and submission.
• Annual budget preparation and submission.
• Business partnering with both local market and operations teams.
• Manage the credit process within the company for current and potential new customers.
• New supplier/customer setup.
• Be key contact for suppliers and customers.
• Act as key support for Managing Director and other Senior Management as required.
