Job Description

Position Overview The Operations Manager – Beach Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire beach operation at Bonny Moon Beach Club. This position ensures exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure while maintaining operational excellence across beach services, rentals, food & beverage service, and facility standards. This role acts as a liaison between the beach club and neighboring hotel partners while supporting the execution of special events and maintaining operational readiness during weather events and hurricane season.

Key Responsibilities

Beach Operations Management

  • Oversee daily beach operations including beach chair management, cabana and equipment rentals, and overall beach service flow.
  • Manage and supervise a team of approximately 18–20 beach and service team members.
  • Ensure all beach areas are properly set up, maintained, and secured throughout the day.
  • Maintain operational readiness for peak periods and high-volume days.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction from arrival through departure.
  • Lead the team in delivering service aligned with Forbes hospitality standards.
  • Engage with guests on the beach to resolve issues and enhance experiences.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements where necessary.

Food & Beverage Beach Service

  • Oversee the beach F&B service cycle including order taking, food and beverage delivery, and clearing of service items.
  • Ensure efficient service of bento boxes and beach dining offerings.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, and restaurant teams.
  • Monitor beach F&B inventory and ensure proper stock levels.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the beach operations team.
  • Establish and enforce service standards and operational procedures.
  • Conduct daily briefings to ensure team alignment with service expectations.
  • Support staff training to maintain Forbes-level service standards.

Cleanliness & Beach Presentation

  • Ensure the highest standards of beach cleanliness and presentation.
  • Monitor removal of used equipment, food containers, and service items from the beach.
  • Maintain a safe and visually appealing beach environment.

Hotel Partnerships & Liaison Role

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Bonny Moon Beach Club and neighboring hotels including Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa and Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of hospitality operations experience, in luxury beach clubs or resort environments.
  • Strong background in guest service leadership and team management.
  • Experience overseeing operations in high-volume environments.
  • Proven ability to manage teams of 15+ staff members.
  • Knowledge of luxury service standards (Forbes or similar) a must.
  • Experience working with hotel partnerships or resort operations is highly desirable.
