Lead Estimator at Corporate Electric Ltd.

The Lead Estimator is responsible for the oversight, training, delegation, and review of projects within the Estimating department, as well as the Supervision of the Estimating staff at Corporate Electric Ltd. Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervision at Corporate Electric Ltd.
• 1) Responsible for the oversight and supervision of the Electrical estimations team
• 2) Oversight and training of remote workers for Corporate Electric Ltd.
• 3) Supervision of the project coordinators of Corporate Electric Ltd.
• Fire Alarm/Fire Suppression at Corporate Electric Ltd.
• 1) Delegate and review drawings and fire alarm/suppression requirements, cross-referencing with current codes and regulations
• 2) Delegation and review Fire alarm shop drawings and estimates
• 3) Developing bills of material and submitting to purchasing for ordering
• 4) Coordinating and liaising with the Fire Alarm Supervisor on technical clarifications and assistance
• 5) Coordinating with the AHJ for necessary review and inspection
• 6) Coordinating and liaising with the affected customers and the Managing Director of Corporate Electric Ltd.
• UPS
• 1) Sizing and procuring of UPS systems
• 2) Liaising with the operations supervisor for installation

Various other related Duties as required by Corporate Electric Ltd. Qualifications and Education Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a Cayman Islands Electrical License with 1-2 years’ experience in Accubid or related estimating software
• Experience in Electrical Construction
• Experience coordinating with BCU and CUC in the Cayman Islands is considered an asset
• Proven ability to work under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines
• Must have a strong personality. Following up, making phone calls, and putting pressure on people is a necessity
