HVAC TECHNICIAN

Please note that the applicant will be responsible amongst other responsibilities for the following:

• Install and assemble walk-in coolers and freezers, including panels, doors,

ceilings, and refrigeration interface components, in accordance with approved drawings and manufacturer requirements.

• Install and position commercial kitchen hood systems, including hoods, duct

connections, supports, and associated exhaust components.

• Install and fix commercial kitchen equipment, including cooking appliances,

refrigeration units, stainless steel fixtures, and preparation stations.

• Read and interpret coordinated shop drawings, layouts, and technical

specifications to ensure accurate installation and proper alignment with site conditions.

• Coordinate with MEP trades (electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation) to

ensure proper routing, connections, and system integration.

• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, anchoring, and structural supports for all

equipment, including seismic bracing where required for hoods and associated systems.

• Assist with installation of remote condensing units and associated

components serving walk-in coolers, ensuring proper positioning and coordination with structural pads and services.

• Perform installation checks and pre-commissioning inspections to verify

readiness for testing and final commissioning.

• Identify and report clashes, missing information, or discrepancies between

drawings and site conditions early, supporting overall coordination efforts.

• Maintain installation quality in accordance with project specifications,

manufacturer instructions, and applicable codes.

• Follow all health, safety, and site-specific regulations during installation

activities.

• Maintain records of installation progress, completed works, and outstanding

items or punch list issues.

• Ensure timely completion of works in line with project schedules and

sequencing constraints.
