Job Description

Cayman International School is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Admissions and Marketing Officer to promote and enhance the visibility, reputation, and brand of the school while supporting student enrollment and retention through strategic communications, digital marketing, content creation, storytelling, and community engagement. Working closely with the Director of Admissions & Community Relations, the successful candidate will develop and implement marketing initiatives that showcase the CIS experience, strengthen community connections, and support student recruitment and retention efforts. The Officer will ensure that all communications align with the mission, values, and strategic priorities of Cayman International School.

Core Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing/branding role, preferably in an education/teaching environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and knowledge of best practices in communications and marketing;
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; extremely detail oriented
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with:

o CMS Platform(s) for Website Management o Creative/Design Programs and Apps (Canva, Mailchimp, Flipsnack) o Social Media Channels o Microsoft Office and the Google Suite o Database Management Platforms

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Highly proficient writing abilities; highly proactive; extremely flexible; enjoy challenges
  • Experience in an educational setting preferred, marketing/sales experience required

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the school's marketing, communications, and social media content.
  • Create and maintain engaging digital and print materials that promote the school's brand and community.
  • Support student recruitment, enrollment, and retention through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate communications and promotional activities for school events and community engagement.
  • Produce and capture multimedia content that showcases the school's programs, achievements, and culture.
  • Ensure consistent application of the school's branding across all communications and platforms.
