Land and Underwater Photographer Instructor

We require a talented and experienced land and underwater photographer who has at least 5 years experience of taking professional photographs and teaching to a high level, land and underwater photography, as well as photo editing. The candidate needs to be proficient and experienced at Event Photography and must have a firm knowledge of both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and be able to use both as a tool in editing event photos, marketing and teaching of students. The candidate needs to be a qualified PADI Divemaster, experienced at leading groups and individuals. The candidate needs to provide a current and up-to-date portfolio of both land and underwater images and demonstrate a use of a camera to a high level on a regular basis. The candidate needs to be familiar with older and current camera models. The candidate also needs to be proficient at scanning, enhancing and restoration of old photos, as well as converting VHS and DVD's to digital. PADI Digital Underwater Photography Instructor a bonus. Responsibilities

• Promote the business to develop a strong clientele of repeat customers

Implement scheduling and managing time of classes/events to allow for maximisation of services Creating a friendly, polite, fun and welcoming service. Customer service and satisfaction is of utmost importance. Help with Social Media and mail marketing posts to promote the company

• Provide marketing photos and materials for the company to help promote its services

Engage participants and encourage client retention. Understand client’s goals and build rapport Qualifications/ Requirements

• Must have minimum 5 years of experience as a land and underwater photography instructor/professional photographer/photo editor
• Must be at least a PADI Divemaster qualified (PADI DUP Instructor a bonus)

Must have worked in a for a diverse range of clients with a diverse range of cameras Must have experience at social media/email marketing

• Must have a proven track record of building relationship and client management
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent organisational skills

Must have attention to detail and an ability to multi-task Must have own transport, dive equipment and camera equipment Must have adequate dive and liability insurance Must be good at time keeping and punctuality Must have a clear Police Record and Medical History Must be willing to travel to photoshoot across island Salary range: CI$ 12 – 14 / Per Hour Commissions: Dependant on experience
