Construction Manager

The position requires an Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized institution. Being a Chartered Engineer, such as MICE or MCIOB would be considered favourably. Health and Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA, proven people management and organisational skills. Candidates must have at least 8 years’ experience of Construction Site Management; working for a Main Contractor in the UK, USA, Canada, or the Caribbean on Major Projects and be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

• Delivering projects on time and budget and meeting quality requirements.
• Leading and managing the project construction team.
• Interfacing with Client and stakeholders.
• Procurement of subcontractors and materials.
• Project scheduling.
• Manage, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors and direct labour.
• Management and enforcement of Company Health and Safety policies.
• Ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge of all disciplines involved in the construction process including design co-ordination, cost control and change management.
