We are looking to recruit a Partner with a strong background in investment funds law to join our expanding Cayman Islands practice. The role involves developing and expanding Carey Olsen's global Cayman corporate practice through the creation and delivery of an effective business strategy in your specialist area. You should have a minimum of 10 years' post qualification experience and already occupy a partner or equivalent role at another global offshore law firm practising Cayman Islands law. To be considered for the role you will be expected to demonstrate an existing client following and annual supervising partner earnings in excess of US$1,000,000. All partners at Carey Olsen are expected to demonstrate a high level of technical competence, as well as being skilled in matter administration and team management. All partner appointments are subject to approval by the equity partners in the global firm and no candidate will be put forward for such approval if there are any reservations as to their competence in any of these areas. The performance and development of all Partners are assessed in accordance with the following criteria:
Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications, the range for which will be between US$300,000 to US$350,000, plus discretionary bonus.
