Perform carpentry work, including woodwork, framing and sheet-rack installation. Perform masonry work including block laying and working with bricks, concrete, concrete blocks and natural or man-made stone. Perform tiling, steel bending, painting and fireproofing spray work. Operate hand tools, construction equipment and small machines safely. Load and unload construction materials and supplies, including materials weighing approximately 100 lbs. Assist with construction of walls, walkways, patios, floors and other structures. Work safely at heights and follow all applicable workplace safety procedures. Cooperate with co-workers, meet work targets and complete assigned duties as required. Work evenings, holidays and irregular hours when required.
High School and/or Trade School graduate. Must have basic carpentry and masonry knowledge and skills. General safety course completed. Minimum 3years of relevant construction experience preferred. Valid driver's licence. Ability to safely lift and handle construction materials of approximately 100 lbs. Ability to operate small construction machines and work at heights. Good hand-eye coordination, physical stamina and strength. Must be able to speak and understand English.
Clean police clearance. Willingness to work irregular days and hours, including evenings and holidays.
