ASSISTANT BARTENDER

Salary: $10:00 per Hour Work Hours: 45 Hours per week Gusto Cayman is a vibrant hospitality destination known for exceptional beverage experiences in a welcoming, energetic atmosphere. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Bartender to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding guest service.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB FUNCTIONS

The primary role of this position is to ensure guests receive a memorable experience through attentive and professional service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to

• Welcome guests warmly and create a fun, inviting atmosphere.
• Take beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established standards.
• Provide menu knowledge and recommendations to guests when appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests and concerns.
• Process payments and handle cash responsibly.
• Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Work closely with bartenders and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

To perform this role successfully, applicants should possess the following

• Previous beverage service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic drinks and bar service is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
