We are seeking a multipurpose position as a Carpenter / Frame Installer & Finisher to be responsible for constructing, installing, and finishing wood and related structures according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and measurements. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing and structural components. Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, moldings, baseboards, and other carpentry components. Perform rough and finish carpentry work on residential and/or commercial projects. Ensure frames, doors, windows, and other installations are level, plumb, square, and properly aligned. Perform finishing work, including sanding, filling, caulking, and preparation for painting or staining. Repair, modify, and replace damaged or improperly installed carpentry work. Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and correctly. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow workplace health and safety regulations. Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects on schedule. Safely handle, transport, and store materials and equipment. Minimize material waste and report shortages or damaged materials to the supervisor. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in carpentry, framing, installation, or finish carpentry. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and measurements. Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and installation techniques. Good measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and work at heights when required. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Working Conditions Work may be performed indoors and outdoors on construction sites. May involve standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/scaffolding, and handling construction materials. Exposure to dust, noise, weather conditions, and construction-site hazards may occur.
