Adjunct Lecturer (Part-time)

Applications are being accepted for adjunct lecturers in the areas of

  • Principle of Auditing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited university.
  • At least three (3) years university lecturing/teaching experience.
  • Relevant industry experience in areas of competence is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to proactively resolve problems and build strong team relationships.
  • A high level of integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to collaborative and collegial processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contributing to the University’s teaching programmes which are consistent with the University’s mission and core commitments;
  • Designed, prepared, and developed teaching materials, and delivered lectures, seminars, and tutorials in accordance with the allocated teaching load.
  • Assessed and marked students' coursework, and recorded, managed, and submitted academic results in accordance with institutional requirements.
  • Conducting tutorials and workshops and facilitates other learning experiences including ‘video link’ courses to Cayman Brac students;
  • Working collaboratively with the Division Dean to maintain and develop effective and efficient programme delivery;
  • Ensuring the quality of all department courses and programs in accordance with the guidelines of the UCCI Curriculum Committee;
  • Developing and implementing new methods of teaching to reflect changes in research;
