Customer Service Attendant

Brown’s Holding Ltd. is a Caymanian-owned, busy gas station and convenience store open 24 hours a day with two branches: one in Industrial Park and another in Red Bay. They are accepting applications from Caymanians/Resident Holders only for the position of Customer Service Attendant, who can work at different stations, including cashiering, pump attendant, and kitchen helper.

Duties and responsibilities include

• When working the front, the employee will need to assist customers checking out items purchased from the store and process the POS (Point of Sale) transactions.
• Employee will need to be mindful at all times of all pumps to avoid any drive-offs.
• Employee needs to adapt to a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing and barraged with sights, sounds, and smells continuously throughout the shift.
• Employee needs to work with the team to keep the station clean at all times, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, upkeep, cleaning equipment, and removal of trash. Clean and maintain the kitchen equipment, and restock kitchen equipment and supplies. They will also wash the dishes and other kitchenware, and help prepare the food to be served at the convenience store.
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.

As the job is a 24-hour business, the employee may be asked to work at various times during the day and night, including weekends and public holidays when needed. A high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and customer service is essential. Must have an outgoing and friendly personality to offer great customer service, be able to work in a fast-paced, stressful retail environment, process payments, clean products and equipment, and do some shelf stocking when needed. Must be a great team player, able to work all shifts (opening, closing, mid including graveyard shifts). A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience is required. The ability to speak more than one language is a plus. Education Requirements: High School Salary range will be CI$8.75 to CI$10.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, knowledge, and experience.
