About The Role The Senior Consultant – Corporate Finance & Restructuring will support the delivery of the administration of formal insolvency appointments, restructuring engagements, board of director appointments, investment management services, distressed asset sales, fraud and complex financial investigations, litigation support and other business advisory services. What You’ll Do As a Senior Consultant, you will work as part of a team across a range of different engagements. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • The preparation and maintenance of case files, statutory records and engagement documentation
  • Collecting, organizing and analysing financial and operational information provided by clients, directors, creditors and other stakeholders
  • Conducting research and background checks to support compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
  • The preparation of reports, schedules and correspondence for courts, regulators, creditors and other interested parties
  • Performing financial analysis, data entry, and reconciliations in support of a variety of matters
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with internal procedures and professional standards
  • Undertaking general administrative and ad hoc tasks as required to support the effective delivery of engagements and operations of the office.
  • Maintaining strong organization and time management of workstreams across multiple active engagements

  • Willing and able to work overtime at short notice, as required

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject
  • 3+ year of post graduate experience, preferably within an international accounting firm
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working towards a professional qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience dealing with insolvency and/or restructuring assignments in the financial sector
