Handyman

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Handyman to perform general maintenance, repair and upkeep of residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs including carpentry, painting, plastering, and basic masonry work.
• Perform routine maintenance on doors, locks, fixtures, and fittings.
• Conduct routine inspections of properties and identify maintenance issues.
• Assist with basic plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and clearing minor blockages.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with basic electrical maintenance such as changing light fixtures and replacing outlets.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
• Perform other related duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in general maintenance, construction, or handyman services.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical repairs.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance instructions and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
