Steel Fixer / General Helper

Job Responsabilities

• Measuring, cutting, and bending steel bars or mesh to precise specifications using specialized equipment.
• Securing rebar in place using wire, clips, or welding to form stable, rigid frameworks (cages).
• Placing, fitting, and anchoring steel reinforcement into concrete formwork, foundations, beams, and slabs.
• Fitting chairs and spacers to ensure the steel has the correct concrete coverage.
• Assist tradesmen
• organizing and handling materials

Mixing cement and mortar

• Preparing and Cleaning work areas
• Loading and uploading supplies
• and performing any other task as required
