Welcomes Customers in a positive, approachable manner and always with a smile while assisting with information on where to find products in the store or pricing information. Assists customers through the selection stage of their purchase by helping with suggestions and performing upselling activities. Team Members are responsible to complete their job with a sense of urgency, organization, safety and cleanliness. Receive, open, unpack, stock incoming merchandise and perform all assigned merchandising duties. Plans and completes set-up of end-cap displays. Assign price tags to merchandise and shelving following standard SOP. Clean, straighten and maintain shelves, displays and other store areas as directed, to project a consistently positive image of the company. Perform cleaning duties following instruction and per company guidelines and procedures for areas inside and outside of store. This includes cleaning of staff breakroom, kitchen area, staff bathroom, sweeping and mopping of all floor areas. Ensure all boxes are broken down flat prior to disposal and as required move garbage to plaza garbage bin as directed. Maintains backroom space in organized and safe fashion with due care for merchandise, fixtures and safety guidelines. Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled. Follow company dress code while being clean, professional and presentable. Follow opening and closing procedures based on shifts and duty assignment. Uses company POS software to complete various aspects of job responsibilities. High school diploma or equivalent. Must have 1-2 years in inventory/merchandising role. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations. Must be able to communicate politely and effectively with customers and other Team Members in the English language. Position requires standing, bending and mobility for the entire work day. Must be able to lift boxes to 50lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to work 10 hours a day, weekends and holidays included.
