Job Description

Overview

A Team Leader assists in running a shift, to ensure the correct KFC corporate operational procedures are being followed (kitchen & front of house). Ensures 101% customer satisfaction by improving customer service, restaurant performance and focusing on the 3 C’s: Customers, Coaching and Controllables. Job entails cash & inventory control and supervision of all team members on shift. Candidate must be able to lift up to 45 lbs, carry out duties assigned by manager, fill in to any position and work under limited supervision. Candidate will work in all KFC locations as needed. Effective computer literacy, oral & written communication and math skills required.

General responsibilities

  • Ensure every customer is served with great products and a smile
  • Oversee the kitchen, coaching our team on how to continuously improve upon the food products they are making and holding times
  • Oversee Team Members' completion of shift tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances
  • Alerting Manager of any equipment issues to be addressed by R&M team
  • Keep the restaurant organized and flowing well, jumping in where needed to support the team (kitchen or front of house)
  • Running smooth, organized shifts that hit operations and service goals
  • Assisting Manager as needed with ordering, scheduling, sales & labour
  • Assigning and participating in the cleaning schedule
  • Motivating, coaching and engaging with the team
  • Cash, sales, and daily administrative duties and reporting
  • Assist Manager with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are always followed
  • Ensuring food quality, accuracy of orders, security and safety, and cleanliness standards are always met
  • Other duties from time to time, as directed by Directors, Managers or Supervisory staff, on duty

Requirements

  • Must be a certified KFC All Star Team Member (kitchen & frontline)
  • Previous experience in food service or other related fields preferred
  • Ability to work split shifts, weekends & holidays between all KFC locations as needed
  • Must have a clean police clearance certificate with no criminal charges
  • Teamwork, able to lift up to 45 lbs & cleaning skills essential
  • Hospitality to interact & work well with a multi-cultural team and customer base
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective computer literacy, oral & written communication and math skills required
  • Valid Cayman Islands drivers license is an asset
