ASSISTANT MECHANIC

SUPERTECH MARINE LTD T/A SUPERTECH MARINE are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and mechanically inclined Assistant Mechanic to support mechanics with vehicle inspections, servicing, repairs, and general maintenance. Responsibilities Assist mechanics with vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs. Perform basic maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements. Assist with brake, tire, battery, and mechanical repairs. Safely operate hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment. Prepare vehicles, parts, and tools for servicing. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Assist with removing, replacing, and installing vehicle components. Report mechanical issues and safety concerns to the mechanic or supervisor. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow all company safety procedures and instructions. Qualifications 1-2 years experience; previous automotive or mechanical knowledge Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanical repairs. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and able to lift and handle equipment. Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license is an asset. Clean police record required.
