Service and Installation Supervisor

The Service and Installation Supervisor will act as the right-hand person to the owner, taking a leadership role in field operations, scheduling, quality control, and team development. This position may, from time to time, require stepping in to assist on the tools for time-sensitive projects such as retrofits, and will also support the sales team when needed. The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced air conditioning professional with a proven track record of leadership, communication, and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all service and installation operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
• Support the owner with daily field management, scheduling, and staff coordination
• Step in as needed to assist technicians with installations, retrofits, and service work
• Assist with time sensitive deliveries to on-site technicians
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to service and installation teams
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, codes, and company standards
• Communicate effectively with clients, technicians, and management
• Assist with sales by providing technical expertise, system recommendations, and customer support
• Monitor quality control
• Resolve escalated service issues
• Follow up with customers after service visits and help explain any tech recommendations and ensure satisfaction
• Be included in on call rotation of manager on call phone responsibilities
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and job documentation

The candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience with air conditioning system installations, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and the installation and fabrication of air conditioning duct and sheet metal systems to a high standard of workmanship while working within a strict operational schedule. The candidate must also have a valid Cayman Islands driver’s license and be able to read and understand blueprint drawings. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays, and to be on call as required, is essential.

COMMISSION & INCENTIVES

The Employee will be paid a 10% commission on all sales generated, including but not limited to equipment, ducting retrofits, new construction projects, service upgrades, and maintenance agreements. Commission is payable upon receipt of full payment from the customer unless otherwise agreed by Management.
