Food and Beverage Server

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Food & Beverage Server to join our team at Paperman's Coffeehouse. This role involves providing excellent customer service, accurately taking and preparing orders, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for our guests. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly, taking food and beverage orders accurately.
• Prepare food and beverages according to recipes and company standards.
• Operate the POS system to complete orders and financial transactions accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
• Follow all company policies, including strict adherence to attendance, punctuality, and cell phone use rules.

Requirements

• Availability: Able to work 6–9-hour shifts, starting between 5:00 am and 9:00 am. Split schedules and overtime may be required.
• Punctuality: Arriving on time is essential; missing a scheduled shift with no notice is not acceptable.
• Professionalism: Excellent hygiene, neat appearance, and consistently professional demeanor required.
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well with customers and teammates.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to accurately use POS systems.
• Physical Requirements: Able to stand and move for the duration of the shift.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (e.g., boxes, garbage bags). Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in food service, coffee house, or restaurant environment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
