Job Description
Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms in accordance with Palm Heights standards. Assist in allowing enough vacant and clean guest rooms for sale. Clean occupied guest rooms.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
While cleaning guest rooms, ensures cleanliness standards are met
Removes dirty towels and sheets from the guest room and replaces them with clean ones from the linen closet.
Cleans, dusts and sanitizes all areas of the guest room
Makes bed and cleans tile area in guest room
Removes room service trays, dishes, carts to service area landings
Uses chemicals, cleaners and cleaning equipment properly
Keeps all guest corridors neat, vacuumed, and dusted. Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevator landing, stairwells, and linen storage rooms are clean. Removes all trash from areas. Sorts linen for washing
Moves racks of clean linen to guest room floors
Stocks linen storage room. Sorts clean linen
Deep cleans floors of lobby, elevators, public areas, guest rooms, locker rooms, guest corridors, offices, event space, spa and fitness club and other service areas
Ensures housekeeping closets on each floor are fully stocked.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Stand and walk throughout the shift for up to eight working hours.
Frequently carry and lift up to 50lbs daily.
Kneel, push, pull, and lift items throughout the shift.
Must be flexible and willing to work, including nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
May be exposed to a noisy, humid and hot environment. Temperatures will vary depending on weather
