Job Description
This role encompasses, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities
Scrape, rinse, and load soiled dishes, utensils, and cookware into the dishwasher according to established procedures
Operate the dishwashing machine properly, ensuring proper water temperature and chemical levels
Organize and maintain a clean and safe dishwashing area
Wash dishes by hand as needed, following proper sanitation guidelines (for delicate items or heavily soiled pots)
Refill dispensers with soap and sanitizer as needed
Take out trash and maintain cleanliness of floors in the dishwashing area
Assist other kitchen staff with tasks as directed, which may include stocking dishes, prepping ingredients, or cleaning equipment
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Additional Responsibilities
Follow restaurant policies, rules and regulations as set forth by Management
Follow safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Management; and complete safety training and certifications
Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Management

Excellent understanding of food handling and safety and sanitation principles
Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Available to work flexible hours, including on Public holidays, weekends and evenings
Entry Level possible, however some experience in fast-paced restaurant kitchen environment preferred.
