The specialized knowledge of outboard engines repair and maintenance. Knowledge of and at least 3 years’ experience as well as a sound working knowledge of 2 and 4 stroke technologies is essential. Specifically knowledge of boat operations and the preparation and executions of engine and boat maintenance and repair is required. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and carpentry repairs is also required. Must have skills in outboard engine repair and maintenance. Must be efficient and punctual. Perform various daily tasks and liaise with customers regarding their engine repairs. Diagnose problems and execute repairs to engines. Knowledge of Marine outboard motor repair and maintenance and the ability to use tools and machinery in a safe manner is required. Must meet all deadlines and work with minimal supervision. Employee will be required to: Diagnose engine problems and liaise with customers. Perform, repair and maintenance on engines under reasonable deadlines. The know-how to use tools, equipment and machinery relating to the job . The disposing of hazardous material appropriately and making sure the work yard is clean and well maintained. Must have valid Driver’s License and ability to operate machinery. Must have at least 3 years marine experience. Position requires work Monday through Saturday. Occasional public holidays required.
