Leticia Ardiente Catanghal T/A Head to Toes is seeking a professional, courteous massage therapist to provide our guests with a wide range of massage services and a beautician who has a wide range of skills in beauty services, good communication skills, and the ability to advise clients on suitable hairstyles, nail colors, and skincare regimes.
Ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized spa facility. Setting up spa and work stations, and ensuring cleanliness and tidiness throughout the shift. Assisting with keeping linens clean and tidy, and replacing them between sessions. Sterilizing equipment. Consulting with clients to identify appropriate massage services. Provide 30-60 minute massages to clients by appointment. Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most. Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions. Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body. Advise clients on stretching, strengthening, or relaxation methods. Suggest future massage appointments and a regimen to clients. Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire. Providing massage services listed in the brochure. Maintaining records and filing documentation. Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations. Shampooing, cutting, styling, and coloring hair, as well as massaging and treating scalps. Applying makeup, performing facials, and recommending skincare therapies. Performing manicures and pedicures, nail art, and color recommendations. Performing permanent and temporary hair removal treatments, such as electrolysis, laser hair removal, and waxing. Suggesting guidelines on personal skincare regimes. Cross-selling beauty therapies and products. Making appointments and documenting treatments. Keeping your workstation and tools clean and sterile. Taking stock and ensuring there are adequate supplies.
High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. Proficient knowledge of reflexology, Swedish, prenatal, hot stone, trigger point, sports, and deep tissue massage. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent people skills. Strong creative skills. Well-groomed, professional appearance. Dexterous and able to stand for extended periods. Comfortable with performing massages on diverse clients. Previous experience in the cosmetology-related field. A working knowledge of skincare therapies, hair removal techniques, beauty products, and trends. Availability to work on weekends and holidays. With a clean police record.
