Delivery Driver

Key duties include planning routes, loading and unloading packages, operating a delivery vehicle, maintaining accurate delivery records, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Transporting goods: Picking up, loading, and delivering a variety of items to different addresses and customers. Route and schedule management: Following pre-determined routes and time schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Customer service: Interacting with customers in a professional and friendly way, resolving issues, and sometimes collecting payments. Vehicle operation and maintenance: Safely operating a vehicle in various conditions, adhering to traffic laws, and performing routine maintenance and inspections. Record keeping: Maintaining accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel, and other relevant information. Skills and qualifications Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of navigation and route planning, often using GPS. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Physical stamina for loading, unloading, and driving for extended periods. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail, particularly for record-keeping and package verification. Must have group 3 driver license.
