You will be responsible for installing fire suppression systems and other Special Fire Alarm Systems, trouble-shooting, testing existing systems, and assisting with fire alarm installation and maintenance.
You will work along the guidelines of the NFPA and NEC rules and regulations.
You will be Installing ridged steel overhead sprinkler piping. Threading and hanging conduit for Suppression agent.
Installation and wiring of devices for associated suppression systems
Programming and modifying new and existing fire alarm/suppression panels
Perform service calls when necessary, during or after regular hours.
You may be required to occasionally work after hours as the job requires.
You will operate a pipe threader and power tools
You will keep detailed testing records and installation notes
Programing devices and panels
Qualifications
A recognized trade certificate/ training related to fire suppression and fire alarm systems
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have a valid passport
Must be able to read electrical/mechanical drawings
Experience working with a clean agent and pre-action systems is considered an asset
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Hands-on experience for on-site equipment troubleshooting
