JANITOR / SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Janitor/Sales Representative Roper Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a friendly individual to join our team as a Janitor/Sales Representative. This unique role combines custodial duties with customer service and sales support. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable interacting with customers in a professional manner. Description of Job: The applicant should have a willingness to want to do this type of work. Previous experience would be an asset for this post, however, training in chemicals and equipment use/operation will be provided to the applicant on the job.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, emptying trash, restroom cleaning, etc).
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Clean and disinfect.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking
• Customer oriented, excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Make sales using various sales methods (door –to –door, cold calling, presentations etc..)
• Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
• Meet personal and team sales targets, excellent leadership, negotiation and relationship skills.
• Work flexible hours to meet customer satisfaction. Evaluate customer’s needs and build productive long lasting relationships
• Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
• Resolve customer complaints/enquires via phone, email, mail, or social media.
• Inform customer of deals and promotions.
• Keep record of sales, prepare inventory of stock and order merchandise.
• Other duties as delegated by Managing Director.

JANITOR

Responsibilities/Functions of the role requires you to perform janitorial duties including, but not limited to, the following tasks: (a) Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors and stairs (b) Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms (c) Cleaning sinks, Countertops, microwaves and refrigerators in break rooms (d) Re- stocking supplies in bathrooms break rooms and common areas (e) Emptying all trash cans and replacing liners and cleaning receptacles as necessary (f) Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered (g) Cleaning windowsills and windows (h) Maintaining janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner (i) Maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition (j) Proper labeling, diluting and using of all chemicals (k) Wearing proper Protective Equipment provided by the employer at all times. (l) Maintaining closets in a clean, organized and safe manner (m) Re-stocking supplies in appropriate storage area (n) Requesting cleaning supplies as necessary (o) General maintenance of grounds (p) Window cleaning of all buildings, however high or low ensuring proper use of equipment supplied by the employer (q) General floor cleaning (r) Cleaning of Restaurant and Hotels or other customers of the employer (s) Kitchen cleaning (t) Carpet Cleaning (u) Sanitizing (v) Upholstery Cleaning
