Carpenter/Painter

The prospective employee's scope of work will include the installation and finishing of exterior partitions and drywall, installation of windows and doors, erection of sub-roof and roof structures, and construction of wooden frameworks such as rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work. They will also be responsible for installing cabinets, shelving, and fitted furniture, as well as applying drywall and insulation. In addition to their carpentry duties, the role will involve a wide range of painting responsibilities, including surface preparation, sanding and priming, color matching, application of sealants and protective coatings, and the use of brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to achieve a professional finish. They will also ensure all painted surfaces are properly maintained and meet site and client specifications. They will work closely with site managers and other construction personnel to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, to high standards, and within the required timelines.
