Golf Cart Attendant

We are accepting applications for the following position

GOLF CART ATTENDANT

The Golf Cart Attendant works to assure a smooth transition for members and their guest around the club. Primary responsibility includes maintenance of golf carts, cart cleanliness. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with golf club members at a high level.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery and equipment
• Collecting, organization, and cleaning of all range baskets used for ball transportation according to established procedures
• Assist to keep the outside area uncontested, neat and clean.
• Washing the range balls to maintain their cleanliness and usability
• Inspect the condition of golf carts with specific attention to their cleanliness, supplies, fuel, condition and appearance.
• Preparing golf carts and clubs for use by members; assist golfers with bags.
• Remaining pleasant with customers, guests and team members displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a similar role
• Previous experience utilizing a golf cart along with knowledge of golf etiquette
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification an asset
• Able to interact and communicate well and work cohesively with customers, guests and team members
• Must be able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Must be able to bend, and lift up to 50lbs to complete tasks on a regular basis; able to walk, stand for extended periods of time to complete duties
• Must enjoy working outdoors with the ability to tolerate weather extremes
• Valid Drivers License and a clear Police Clearance record
