Kitchen Helper

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen Helper to support the daily operations of our mobile restaurant. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cleaning, inventory organization, and maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring efficient food service and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, food preparation areas, and service areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and cooking equipment as needed.
• Assist with stocking and organizing food supplies, beverages, and packaging materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down the mobile restaurant before and after service.
• Remove trash and maintain clean waste disposal areas.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and food handling.

Qualifications and Requirements Essential Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 2 years experience preferred.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, food truck, or food service environment is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: KYD $8.00 per hour.
