Execute daily cleaning and disinfection routines to agreed checklists and site schedules, including high-touch surfaces, common areas, offices, washrooms, corridors, and staff areas. Maintain washroom hygiene to a professional standard: sanitize fixtures, restock consumables, eliminate odours, and keep facilities inspection-ready at all times. Waste management & sanitation: remove and segregate waste correctly; replace liners; maintain clean waste stations; follow site-specific disposal rules. Spot-clean and detail throughout the shift: address spills, stains, debris, and visible soil immediately; maintain a “continuously clean” environment rather than end-of-shift cleaning only. Deep-cleaning and periodic tasks: floor scrubbing, edge/detail cleaning, high/low dusting, glass, and scheduled intensive cleans as assigned. Safe chemical handling: follow dilution ratios, labeling requirements, SDS guidance, and PPE standards; never mix chemicals. Equipment care and accountability: operate and maintain cleaning tools properly; report defects, losses, or shortages immediately; keep janitor closets organized and audit-ready. Documentation & reporting: complete logs/checklists accurately (paper or app-based); escalate hazards, damages, incidents, or recurring issues to the supervisor promptly. Professional conduct on client premises: respectful communication, discretion, and compliance with site rules, privacy expectations, and restricted-area protocols.
