Mason: Duties and Responsibilities Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stones to build walls and structures. Mix and apply mortar, cement, and grout. Measure and mark work areas according to plans and specifications. Construct, repair, and maintain masonry structures. Cut and shape bricks, blocks, and stones as needed. Ensure masonry work is level, aligned, and properly finished. Install and repair concrete, stone, and brick surfaces. Read and follow construction drawings and instructions. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Perform other masonry-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
