Responsibilities

  • Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients
  • Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs, ensuring the client understands their solution and its benefits
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints
  • Comply with insurance standards and regulations
  • Look up premiums and collect payment
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals
  • Answer customer inquiries on various communication channels
  • Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients
  • Enhance company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different client requests; exploring opportunities to add value to client relationship
  • Assist clients with filing a claim and transferring correspondence to the claims management program

Qualifications

  • Experience in insurance, or customer service-related role
  • Strong initiative and self-direction, being a goal-oriented person
  • Detail orientated and an analytical thinker
  • Requires a high degree of sales, comfortable in a fast-paced, results-orientated climate with deadlines
  • A self-confident, extroverted style which can engage, and positively impact individuals and groups is essential
  • Ability to learn new products and adapt to the ever-changing market
  • Robust organizational skills
  • IT and math skills
  • Adapts well to change and is multi-tasking
  • Passionate about the latest technology solutions and learning new programs
  • Fosters client and key-personnel relationships and excellent customer experience
  • Knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations
  • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends

Education Requirements

  • High school Diploma
  • Must be willing to complete Insurance qualifications (paid for by Saxon)

Compensation

  • USD $40,000-$50,000 depending on experience and qualifications
  • Participation in generous company bonus schemes (post probation completion)

The successful candidate will need to pass the Insurance Foundations Insurance Test within 6 month of their contract start date.
