Job Description

The main functions of this role include

Monitoring and ensuring the quality of service delivery provided by RBTs and Coordinators Managing ongoing and initial training for behavior technicians Monitoring and ensuring the skill and performance integrity of behavior technicians Collecting performance data on behavior technicians in session and outside of sessions The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for quality assurance and supervision/training of BTs, Coordinators and stakeholders.

Specific Responsibilities

Manages a small individual caseload, to ensure billable hours requirements are met

BT Onboarding

Communicates with the Operations Manager to plan ahead and identify hiring needs for BTs (Use this form ) Develops and implements initial clinical onboarding training for BTs and Coordinators Conducts in-person role-play and lecture training for new BT’s or trainees over their first two weeks Schedules overlap sessions for all incoming BT for their second two weeks Conducts a Field Evaluation / Competency assessment of all BT’s after their initial 15 overlaps sessions Conducts 90-day field evaluation for all new BTs Keeps a log of all RBT competency assessments conducted for new BTs. Assists BTs with exam preparation and application

Ongoing BT Training

Develops and implements ongoing clinical training for BTs (presented during Group Supervision meetings, based on identified skill deficits across the service delivery team Maintains a completed training log, with dates of completed training and links to powerpoints presented, as well as a record of attendees who received training. Continually assesses company, program and staff needs; based on assessment, identifies and develops and delivers training or processes to improve areas of need. Oversees continuing education requirement completion status for BTs monthly and assigns relevant trainings to staff as needed

Supervision, Mentorship and Performance Monitoring

Schedules and completes one three-hour session integrity check for each BT once per month; records integrity check data in Central Reach Schedules and completes at a least one hour integrity check for Coordinators at least once per month; records integrity check data in Central Reach Conducts once monthly mentorship meetings with BTs and Coordinators Covers Coordinator’s and/or other Clinical Supervisors’ supervision schedule when they are is out Oversees the Clinical Coordinators’ direct supervision of BTs, and scoring of integrity checks by establishing 90% IOA once Oversees the BCBAs direct sessions and scores integrity checks on these sessions Resolves staff conflicts and documents issues according to disciplinary policies and procedures corrective feedback according to disciplinary action policy Completes and conducts performance reviews for all direct reports Enforces policies and procedures and addresses issues as they occur in collaboration with the management team. Meets regularly with the Clinical Practice Supervisor and Operations Manager to identify areas of improvement needed, and takes action to resolve issues and improve performance immediately
